Music Composition

FR exclusively represents three composer/producers. A truly diverse roster with a combined 50+ years working on music for advertising, film and television, each of our composing team comes from an artist background first and foremost; each brings a wealth of creativity and unique abilities to whatever the job may be.

Mahuia Bridgman-Cooper:

Classically trained, with a Master's degree in Music from Otago (among other tertiary music qualifications), Mahuia, a recipient of both the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll Award and the APRA Maioha Award, picked up a violin aged 6, and has been honing his overall music craft ever since through composition, production and performance. (His performance and producer skills have seen him travel the globe as a sideman for a host of artists.) Adept at everything from strings to original pop, you can see numerous examples of his studied work throughout our site.

Jim Hall:

Jim holds a Bachelor of Music from Canterbury. He also holds more awards for composition and production than we could ever recount here. Renowned globally for his pop sensibility and craft skills, it's our distinct pleasure to be working with him at FR. Milon Williams:

An honours graduate from MAINZ, Milon's the most recent addition to the composer family at FR. Milon is one cool cat. That is to say, Milon has one cool cat, called Pharrell. An utterly brilliant guitarist with a fine pedigree in working bands in NZ and internationally, he, that is to say Milon, (as opposed to Pharrell), constantly strives to push himself into new musical places, and like all of our team, has a unique musical spirit to bring to the table. That spirit has seen him produce some great work for clients including TAB, Mazda, and Spark.
